aPhoto GPS Marker places text labels over the images, taken with iPhone built-in camera.
Following label types can be used:
- Image caption (trip description, person name, etc. );
- Address (country, city, street name. Application is using Google service to convert coordinates into address string, so internet connection is required for this feature).
- Current date and time (short, medium and long formats);
- Geographical location - altitude and longitude;
- Distance to the selected location (distance to home, country capital, trip start);
- Altitude in meters or feet;
- Current speed (kmh, mph, knots);
- Copyright string;
Application uses built-in GPS to get the location data. You can enable or disable some labels, specify the font name, size, color or transparency for each label.
After the labels are placed, you can save it into your Photos album.
Separate screen with satellite data allow to use this program as a simple GPS.

This is simple and practical. It has all the caption information, date, location, weather,elavation in one application. This is what I needed for my job.
Pretty good app and great idea; but the app constantly freezes and crashes. I have to restart the phone often and it gets annoying. The app desperately needs an update to correct stability issues and bug fixes. My advice would be to wait for an update before purchasing.
The UI is not good, particularly in the application settings. For instance, I want to change the copyright information overlay, but the keyboard slides up over that field in the settings and I cant see what Im typing. Time overlay settings supplies three formats (Long, Medium, and Short) but does not show a sample for the option selected. Animations are used inconsistently in settings page. The application has locked up my phone three times out of three tries, so I have yet to get an image that has the overlays of the data the application is supposed to supply.
After all the complaints about the same problems, still nothing is done to correct them. App still crashes CONSTANTLY. Save your .99 or look for other apps with better support. It was worth the .99 to write this review...terrible app.
